Devlog 2: KTJ Origins - Disappointment
Kerrigan's Terminal Journal » Devlog

Story Time:
- Originally I posted my app to Nexus mods. And it was rejected for being an app and not an actual mod.
- Which was confusing because I've seen apps on the site that are two years old.
- Maybe my app was more of a risk?
- And they didn't really elaborate, they just said I described what I had as an app, not a mod, so it didn't belong.
- When I asked, specifically, what lines in the code were the problem, they wouldn't tell me.
- And it didn't seem to matter.
- I was even transparent with the Source Code.
Initially, I really wanted my app on Nexus, cause it's my home for mods I've personally downloaded:
- So, I was briefly depressed depressed in a day because I thought it was over.
- I went back to bed.
- All that work for nothing.
- Then I found out about itch.io
- I had visited the site in the past because I'm a fan of certain games.
- Hope restored.
I don't hate them:
- But I'm a little bitter.
- I don't feel I got a reasonable explanation.
- But if my app truly was a risk, it definitely best to stay on the side of caution.
