Devlog 1: KTJ Origins - How a mod became an app.
Kerrigan's Terminal Journal » Devlog

The Story
- My app was initially a mod idea for PC Building Simulator 1 then PC Building Simulator 2
- Originally i wanted to make an in-game note taking app to keep track of orders and maybe even parts.
- My troubles -
- PCBS1 had tools to create mods but it was extremely outdated.
- PCBS2 is more recent but lacked tools, and adding an in-game app to the in-game computer or tablet would have been more trouble than it's worth.
- PCBS2 was new but too new. I would have had to deal with the game receiving updates and breaking the changes.
- It didn't have mod support for the mod I wanted to make.
- So it started as a mod idea then it turn into making a separate app that could be used alongside it.
- But it's origin had roots as a mod.
It takes inspiration from:
- Fallout 4
- "Journal of the Sole Survivor"
- A Fallout 4 mod from 2016.
